Borders Young Fiddles, the first CD of Border Fiddles, five of the most accomplished young players of traditional music. This album is a landmark collection of traditional Borders music and original tunes from the members of Border Fiddles. It also contains extra 'enhanced CD' material featuring some of the history behind Borders fiddle music, biogs of the players and the notation for all of the music on the CD.
Lori Watson :Three, is the first 'solo' recording by Lori Watson featuring great songs and music, some taken from the Scottish tradition, some Lori's adaptations of traditional music and songs and some that are new, original, compositions by Lori herself. Musicians featured with Lori in the band are Lori's brother Innes on guitar and Fiona Young on accordion. Barry 'Spad' Reid also plays guitar on the album.
Pleasure's Coin, is the follow-up album issued in January 2009 and is the work of the new line-up "Lori Watson and Rule of Three". Lori on fiddle and vocals, Innes Watson on guitars and John Somerville on accordion. The band is augmented by Duncan Lyall on acoustic and electric bass and Donald Hay on percussion. Providing support on the album are Aidan O'Rourke on fiddle and Kris Drever and Karine Polwart on vocals. Fiona Young, former member of Rule of Three plays on her own composition "Valkyrie"
